A spooky first-person shooter with puppet characters

My Friendly Neighborhood: Basement Demo is an adventure game created by developer DreadXP for PC. It is a single-player first-person shooter that features survival-horror elements. In it, they will play as a repairman sent to investigate strange disturbances happening at a popular puppet show studio.

My Friendly Neighborhood: Basement Demo features a similarly spooky and atmospheric presentation to a game like Five Nights at Freddy’s 4. If Sesame Street turned dark

My Friendly Neighborhood: Basement Demo centers around The Friendly Neighborhood, a popular Saturday morning puppet show in decline. As interest in it waned and money ran out, the studio behind was forced to close down for good. Years later, the whole place suddenly and mysteriously came to life and started broadcasting again. You play as Gordon, a repairman sent in to find out what's going on.

Thus, begins your dark and creepy adventure into the game. Come face to face with various puppet fiends, solve puzzles to progress, and ultimately figure out the root cause of these dark and mysterious series of events. You’ll get to familiarize yourself with some of the game’s weapons, which are The Rolodexer and The Novelist as you fend off your ferocious pursuers.

What’s more, it utilizes nonlinear gameplay that allows you to explore and branch out into different story paths as you choose. As mentioned earlier, though, this is just a demo version to give a preview of what the full game will be.

Officially released

After spending some time in the demo phase, the full version of the game has been officially released by the developer studio. No drastic changes were made to the gameplay and players can still enjoy it as is. The full version can be purchased on Steam.
